Every now and then, we talk about us and our guilty little pleasures from animes. Like maybe how we are thrilled by a quick panty shot of a character. Or at the violence which is morally sickening but still gets us excited.
Well… Needless does this well. Only problem is, Needless doesn’t know the meaning of “little”.
Oh wait… Did I say problem?
No Sir, no problems here… 😉
Needless is such a riot. I HAD to use 2 opening screens!
Upon completing the Needless and my OVA run which I will post about later, I find myself too deprived of brain activity to do any intelligent posting. So I’m going to do the next best thing. I am going to steal other people’s work. Ain’t internet great? Xp
Review at Tha Baka Blog:
“I think it’s a riot! Episode 1 and 2 had me in stitches with some of the scenes. No directional storyline, no cohesive plot, just pure unadulterated gag comedy and I love it! Needless is just one of those type of series that you don’t try to sit there and analyzed, nor pick it apart. Just sit back, empty out your brains and laugh! When I first viewed episode 1, I had a flashback of “Astro Fighter Sunred.” Not comparing the two… just that I got a kick out of Astro Fighter Sunred, and I loved blogging on it.”
“This show is just downright silly and I love it! Totally recommend this series — provided that you don’t mind laughing your butt off!”
“Priest Blade: Needless Power: Zero Fragment. All braun… period.” (I Lol’ed at this quote by CaG)

Ok. Am going to rant on this scene a little. How is it, that after all these years, the good guys (or sometimes the nobodys (or sometimes even the villains)) still hasn’t learn that you do not kill a final boss that easily. There’s just no “GET”ting him. If it was that simple, you would have done it midway of the series. Instead of having a number of characters die in the process of reaching this “Did we get him?” scene.
Yeah… sure… you use this line to promote suspense. Well don’t. It no longer does. It’s just corny now…
